Architecture

Architecture is both the process and the product of planning, design and to build buildings and other structures. Architectural works, in the physical form of buildings, are often regarded as cultural and artistic works.Historical civilizations are often defined by surviving building performance.The first informative essay on architecture is De architectura, by the Roman architect Vitruvius in the early 1st century.According to Vitruvius, a good building should fulfill the three principles of firmitas,Utilitas, venustas commonly known by the original meaning - density, product and joy. Utility - Building should be suitable for the purpose for which it is used.

Beauty - Construction should be aesthetically pleasing.

Golden Ratio

Gold inserts usually appear as a ratio of lateral lengths in rectangles. The parchment Temple is often said to be designed according to the golden style. Guðjón Samúelsson

Guðjón Samúelsson was born in 1887 and died in 1950. He was an Icelandic architect and housekeeper. He was a great enthusiast about organizational matters and was in the first organizing committee of the state, established in 1921. He has designed many well-known buildings in Iceland, for example. Hallgrímskirkja, National Theater, the University of Iceland's main house, the Icelandic art gallery and the main building of the National Hospital. His style can be described as a neoclassical, romantic, and colossal style.

Högna Sigurðardóttir 

Högna Sigurðardóttir was born in 1929 in Vestmannaeyjar. She was the first Icelandic student to study at the Ecole Des Arts art school in Paris. She graduated as an architect in 1960 and was the first woman in architectural art to draw a house in Iceland. Her most famous work is a villa at Bakkaflöt 1 in Garðabær. In 2000, the house was chosen as the first of the 100 most significant buildings of the 20th century in northern and central Europe. The house is restored and includes all the fixed interiors of the house. Högna was known for her attitude toward architecture, but she emphasized the relationship between the house and land and nature. She looked at the house and the inner burden were an unbroken whole. Raw concrete played a major role in the design of Högna.

Cécar Pelli 

He was born in 1926 and is the owner of Pelli Clarke Pelli. He is an Argentinian American architect and is known for some of the world's largest buildings. In 1991, Pelli was among the 10 other one of the most effective living architects. He has won numerous awards including the AIA Gold Medal. Recognizing the work of sustained influence on the theory and architecture of architecture. Petronas Twin Towers were by far the tallest buildings in the world. He also designed the World Financial Center in downtown Manhattan
