Landscape Architecture

Landscape architecture is the design of public areas, landmarks and structures to achieve environmental and color-based results. Landscape architecture is an interdisciplinary field, including elements of grass science, horticulture, art, architecture, industrial design, geology, environmental psychology, geography and ecology. The activities of landscape architects can range from the establishment of parks and parks to planning for campus and office buildings, from designing residential buildings to civilian design and management of large uninhabited countries or restoring land degradation

Frederick Law Olmsted

Was born in 1822 in the United States. He was a landscape architect, journalist, sociologist and public administrator. He is generally considered to be the father of American landscape architecture. Olmsted was famous for designing many well-known urban areas, including Calvert Vaux, including Central Park in New York, Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, and Elm Park in Worcester, Massachusetts, which many consider to be the first local park in America.

Martha Schwartz

Martha Schwartz, born in 1950. She is an American landscape architect. Its background in art and landscape architecture has contributed to the increase of more pronounced terrain and public spaces in cities around the world. Works Mörthu face traditional landscape scenes with effects such as Pop Art, Land Art and sculptors like Isamu Noguchi. Mörthu's projects range from art equipment to private, urban and water parks. She studied at Harvard Graduate School of Design and University of Michigan. Its company is called Martha Schwartz Partners or MSP. She has offices in London, New York and Beijing.
